Chairman
Ian Cahill has spent more than 30 years with Ericsson in
Ireland and has been Chairman of the Boards of LM Ericsson
(Holdings) Ltd and of LM Ericsson Ltd since 2003.
He has been instrumental in several High-Tech start-ups and sits on a number of such Boards. He has been Chairman of UCD's University Industry Programme and instrumental in the realization of NovaUCD. He remains on the Board.
Ian is the Director of the National Institute of Technology Management. He is
also a member of ICT Ireland and Chairman of Inner City Enterprise.
He is a council member of the Irish Council for Science, Technology and Innovation. He is an Engineering graduate of UCC and holds a Masters degree in Industrial Engineering from UCD. He is a fellow of the Institution of Engineers in Ireland.
Managing Director
Dan Richardson is a former naval engineer officer with extensive experience in the sale and delivery of R&D projects within the defence, space and aerospace sectors, working for DERA (now QinetiQ) and INSYS (now Lockheed Martin). He has worked as a Project Manager, Sales and Marketing Manager, Consultant and most recently led a team of 50 research scientists and engineers
conducting multi-disciplinary applied research. Dan has a First class BEng(Hons) in Electronic Engineering from Bristol University, an MBA from London Business School, and is a chartered engineer.
Technical Director
Dr Paul McEvoy is an applied physicist with university and technology transfer industry experience. He worked within Optronics Ireland developing new technologies for the telecommunication market before moving to the UK based technology development company, The Technology Partnership, where he managed a variety of technology development projects. Paul has a PhD from Trinity College Dublin, and a BSc from DCU.
Non-Executive Director
Ray Naughton is
co-founder of 4th Level Ventures, and joined the board of Technology
from Ideas as a non-executive director. From 1987 to 1998 Ray was
Managing Director of Siemens Nixdorf in Ireland and from 1992 to 1997 he
worked internationally on a major entrepreneurial development and
culture change programme.
