co-development
TfI routinely works with
companies to integrate its technology into new and innovative solutions
for partner companies. TfI is flexible in how it engages with customers
although a typical co-development is as follows:
Phase 1: Feasibility Study
-
Collect and refine customer
specifications;
-
Analyze potential concepts;
-
Technical summary of findings and
CAD.
Phase 2: Simulation
-
Conduct mathematical modelling of
selected concept(s) (e.g. CFD, FEA, Matlab);
-
Iterate designs and present
technical summary and CAD.
Phase 3: Prototype Build
-
Design and build a prototype of
the product concept;
-
Prove concept, form, fit and
function potential;
-
Evaluate and refine product
design requirements.
